Delivery & Returns

     

Premier Delivery Service

Please Take Note of the Leading Delivery Times If you wish to place an order.

Once the order is ready to ship we will contact you to arrange delivery.  Our Premier Delivery Service consists of a dedicated, highly trained delivery team that will bring your new furniture home to you on a day of your choice, even on a Saturday.  When it comes to delivery, we've thought of everything:

Protection for your furniture

Your furniture is transported with the utmost care and comes in protective packaging to keep it in perfect condition.

Expert installation with all packaging removed and recycled

We will unpack and install your furniture exactly where you want it (subject to access), then remove all the packaging for recycling, so you don't have to.  (This excludes self-assembly furniture).

Assembly of furniture

Most of our furniture is assembled, unless otherwise stated.  Our delivery team will connect feet, legs and assemble bed frames for you.

Wardrobes & Wall Unit Assembly Charges - These can be assembled by our Premier Delivery team at an additional charge.  You will find the assembly charge listed as a separate product below the item being purchased.  Please add this item to the shopping basket in addition to the wardrobe or wall system.

Your satisfaction

Every effort will be made to ensure that the goods you have ordered arrive undamaged, complete and without defect. When your delivery is complete, we will ask you to examine the furniture in the presence of our delivery team and sign that you are completely happy.  If you find the furniture to be defective in any way, this should be noted on the delivery documentation, which will be relayed to our Customer Service Department who will be in contact with you.

Damaged or defective goods can be returned with our delivery crew or alternatively, one of our very experience technicians can visit you at a convenient date, to carry out an inspection and if possible repair the goods or obtain the necessary parts to carry out the repairs (most times this is the most convenient route for our Customers, as they do not have to wait for a redelivery of the goods and you can continue to use them).

If the damage is discovered after delivery, you must notify us by e-mail at sales@dansk.co.uk within 3 days of delivery of the goods.

2. FREE Click & Collect

FREE collection - For your convenience, we offer a click & collect service from our Rayleigh Warehouse on all items. Please note that you will be notified by e-mail when the items are ready for collection.

3. Courier Postal Service

Please Take Note of the Leading Delivery Times If you wish to place an order.

For your convenience, we can offer delivery using Parcel Force UK Mainland or a Courier service on selected items, depending on weight and your location, delivery Monday to Friday.  All items must be signed for.  In the event of any goods damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days from the day after the delivery day.  If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier.

4. Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from Dansk international and are proud of the quality, range and advice that we offer.  For products purchased online, If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it (cancel your contract), you have the right to cancel orders on products that are not made to order/special order by notifying us in writing (including e-mail) before delivery, or within 14 days from receiving the goods.  Our only requirement is that the item is wrapped, in a fully re-saleable condition and that you pay the costs of the collection, alternatively you can return the item to our Rayleigh Warehouse.  This excludes made to order/special order items and mattresses that have been taken out of their original sealed packaging.

If you cancel your order after the goods have been delivered and signed for in good condition, you must not use the product, you must take care of the item and keep them in the original packaging where possible.  We will refund your monies paid in full, for the goods being returned, excluding the cost of collection, which will be equal to the original delivery charge paid. (i.e. if a delivery charge was £55 the collection charge will be £55), unless you return the goods to our warehouse and therefore no collection charge will be made.  The refund will be in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase provided that you notified us of the cancellation by e-mail within 14 days from receiving the goods and that the goods are returned/collected and received in the same unused condition that they were delivered to you, within 14 days.  The refund will be processed within 14 days of the goods arriving back to our Rayleigh Warehouse. 

If the product returned is not in a fully re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

To summarise:

4.1 If you wish to cancel your order: You must notify us by e-mail to info@dansk.co.uk (a) before we have dispatched the goods to you; or (b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, within 14 days from receiving the goods and by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 4.2 below

4.2 Once you have notified us in writing of your cancellation as outlined in clause 4.1, you have a further 14 days in which to return goods that you have ordered from us, for a full refund or exchange. The cost of returning the goods to us shall be borne by you.

4.3 Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid within 14 days of receipt of the goods or an exchange or credit as required.

4.4 The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in clause 4.2 will not apply in the following circumstances: (a) in the event that the product has been used; (b) to any products that we have made or customised specifically for you. The provisions of this clause 4.4 does not affect your statutory rights.
