These terms and conditions only apply to the use of this website at www.dansk.co.uk. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Using this website indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register an account with us or order from us. Please read carefully before placing any order.

In these terms & conditions the following items shall have the following meanings:
‘Company’: La Galleria Furniture Ltd trading as Dansk International
‘Customer’: Means any legal person or body corporate who’s order is accepted by the Company.
‘Contract’: Means any contract for the supply of Goods or Services by the Company to the Customer
‘Goods’: Means any goods forming the subject of this contract including parts and components of or materials incorporated in them
‘Services’: Means any services forming the subject of the contract
You will be able to access most areas of this website without registering your details with us. Certain areas of this website are only open to you if you register. We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting. You should check this website from time to time to review the then current terms and conditions, because they are binding on you. Certain provisions of these terms and conditions may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages of this website.
Where goods are to order a 30% deposit will be taken with the initial order and the 70% balance taken prior to delivery or collection, however if the order is all in stock, a full payment will be taken.
1.1 We are pleased to accept orders via a secure server. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. We accept PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch, Maestro and Solo. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card authorised payment in the name of the registered cardholder and delivery to the cardholders address. If the item is being collected the cardholder must present their card upon collection as proof of I.D.
1.1 You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. When you place an order with us by pressing the “Place Order” button on the purchasing page you are making an offer to purchase product(s) from us. No contract exists between us at this point.
1.2 Our acceptance of an order only takes place when we receive your payment and an e-mail sent with your order acknowledgement, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.
1.3 We may refuse to accept the order: (a) where the goods are not available; (b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment; (c) where your delivery address is not within our Postcode Delivery Area; (d) if there has been a pricing or product description error or amendment; or (e) delivery is not to your cards billing address; (f) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.
1.4 All items supplied to the Customer remain the property of Dansk International until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods, has been received by us in full.
THE CUSTOMER SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE GOODS SOLD ACCORD WITH THE CUSTOMER'S REQUIREMENTS AND ARE FIT FOR THE CUSTOMER'S PURPOSE AND THAT THE DIMENSIONS OF THE GOODS ARE SUITABLE.
2.1 Premier Delivery Service
Once the order is ready to ship we will contact you to arrange delivery. Our Premier Delivery Service consists of a dedicated, highly trained delivery team that will bring your new furniture home to you on a day of your choice, even on a Saturday. When it comes to delivery, we've thought of everything:
Protection for your furniture
Your furniture is transported with the utmost care and comes in protective packaging to keep it in perfect condition.
Expert installation with all packaging removed and recycled
We will unpack and install your furniture exactly where you want it (subject to access), then remove all the packaging for recycling, so you don't have to. (This excludes self-assembly furniture).
Assembly of furniture
Most of our furniture is assembled, unless otherwise stated. Our delivery team will connect feet, legs and assemble bed frames for you.
Wardrobes & Wall Unit Assembly Charges - These can be assembled by our Premier Delivery team at an additional charge. You will find the assembly charge listed as a separate product below the item being purchased. Please add this item to the shopping basket in addition to the wardrobe or wall system.
Every effort will be made to ensure that the goods you have ordered arrive undamaged, complete and without defect. When your delivery is complete, we will ask you to examine the furniture in the presence of our delivery team and sign that you are completely happy. If you find the furniture to be defective in any way, this should be noted on the delivery documentation, which will be relayed to our Customer Service Department who will be in contact with you.
Damaged or defective goods can be returned with our delivery crew or alternatively, one of our very experience technicians can visit you at a convenient date, to carry out an inspection and if possible repair the goods or obtain the necessary parts to carry out the repairs (most times this is the most convenient route for our Customers, as they do not have to wait for a redelivery of the goods and you can continue to use them).
If the damage is discovered after delivery, you must notify us by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 days of delivery of the goods.

N.B. Please ensure all items will fit through doors and tight corridors before ordering.
2.2 FREE Click & Collect
FREE collection - For your convenience, we offer a click & collect service from our Rayleigh Warehouse on all items. Please note that you will be notified by e-mail when the items are ready for collection.
Rayleigh Warehouse: Dansk International, 48-50 Stadium Way, Rayleigh Retail Park, Rayleigh, Essex SS7 3NZ Between the hours of 10am until 3.30pm Monday to Saturday.
2.3 Courier Postal Service
For your convenience, we can offer delivery using Parcel Force UK Mainland or a Courier service on selected items, depending on weight and your location, delivery Monday to Friday. All items must be signed for. In the event of any goods damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days from the day after the delivery day. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier. 3.1 All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT * (where applicable) at the current rates. We reserve the right to express the price exclusive of VAT, but we shall show VAT separately and include it in the total price.
3.2 Where we charge separately for delivery or carriage the appropriate rates are shown on the Delivery & Returns Page.
3.3 Our prices are reviewed periodically. We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.
4. CANCELLATION & RETURNS POILCY
We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from Dansk international and are proud of the quality, range and advice that we offer. For products purchased online, If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it (cancel your contract), you have the right to cancel orders on products that are not made to order/special order by notifying us in writing (including e-mail) before delivery, or within 14 days from receiving the goods. Our only requirement is that the item is wrapped, in a fully re-saleable condition and that you pay the costs of the collection, alternatively you can return the item to our Rayleigh Warehouse. This excludes made to order/special order items and mattresses that have been taken out of their original sealed packaging.
If you cancel your order after the goods have been delivered and signed for in good condition, you must not use the product, you must take care of the item and keep them in the original packaging where possible. We will refund your monies paid in full, for the goods being returned, excluding the cost of collection, which will be equal to the original delivery charge paid. (i.e. if a delivery charge was £55 the collection charge will be £55), unless you return the goods to our warehouse and therefore no collection charge will be made. The refund will be in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase provided that you notified us of the cancellation by e-mail within 14 days from receiving the goods and that the goods are returned/collected and received in the same unused condition that they were delivered to you, within 14 days. The refund will be processed within 14 days of the goods arriving back to our Rayleigh Warehouse.
If the product returned is not in a fully re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount. This does not affect your statutory rights.
4.1 If you wish to cancel your order: You must notify us by e-mail to email@example.com (a) before we have dispatched the goods to you; or (b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, within 14 days from receiving the goods and by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 4.2 below
4.2 Once you have notified us in writing of your cancellation as outlined in clause 4.1, you have a further 14 days in which to return goods that you have ordered from us, for a full refund or exchange. The cost of returning the goods to us shall be borne by you.
4.3 Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid within 14 days of receipt of the goods or an exchange or credit as required.
4.4 The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in clause 4.2 will not apply in the following circumstances: (a) in the event that the product has been used; (b) to any products that we have made or customised specifically for you. The provisions of this clause 4.4 does not affect your statutory rights.

5.1 You are permitted to print and download extracts from this website for your own use on the following basis: (a) no documents or related graphics on this Website are modified in any way; (b) no graphics on this Website are used separately from accompanying text; and (c) any of our copyright and trade mark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies
5.2 Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Website (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are owned by us, or our licensors. 6. SERVICE ACCESS
6.1 While we endeavour to ensure that this Website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable, if for any reason this Website is unavailable for any period of time.
6.2 Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and possibly without notice in the case of system failure, routine maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.
7. VISITOR MATERIAL & CONDUCT

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the pictures and colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product due to technical limitations, some colours may vary. 12.2 We do not warrant that materials/items for sale on the Website are appropriate or available for use outside the United Kingdom. It is prohibited to access the Website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful. If you access this Website from locations outside the United Kingdom, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
13.1 You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights under these terms and conditions.

14. SCOPE OF CONTRACT
Under no circumstances shall the Company have any liability of whatever kind for:
14.1 Any defects resulting from wear and tear, accident, improper use by the Customer except in accordance with the instructions or advice of the Company or the manufacturer of any Goods or Services, neglect or from any instructions or materials provided by the Customer.
14.2 Any Goods or Services, which have been adjusted, modified or repaired except by the Company.
14.3 The suitability of any Goods or Services for any particular purpose or use under specific conditions whether or not the purpose or conditions were known or communicated to the Company.
14.4 Any substitution by the Company of any materials or components not forming part of any specification of the Goods or Services agreed in writing by the Company.
14.5 Any descriptions, illustrations, specifications, figures as to performance, drawings and particulars of dimensions and weights submitted by the Company contained in the Company’s catalogues, literature, price lists or elsewhere since they are merely intended to represent a general idea of the Goods or Services and not to form part of the contract or to be treated as representations.
14.6 Any technical information, recommendations, statements or advice furnished by the Company, its employees or agents not given in writing in response to a specific written request from the Customer before the Contract is made, or (see clause 14.7)
14.7 Any variation in the qualities or dimension of any Goods or Services or changes of their specifications or substitution of any materials or components; if the variation or substitution does not materially effect the characteristics of the Goods or Services and the substituted materials or components are of a quality equal or superior to those originally specified.
Dansk International assure you that your personal information is securely stored on our mailing list for our Company use only and we do not pass any personal details to other companies or third parties. We would like to keep you in touch with future promotions.
We will collect and store any personal data that you may volunteer whist using our services, e.g. placing an order, joining our e-mail newsletter or entering a prize draw or competition.
The type of information that we will collect will include - Your title and name, known address, contact telephone numbers, e-mail address, order and payment details. Details may be forwarded securely to other parties in order to fulfil this order only. These will include delivery and payment partners.
We will collect and store information about you to allow us to firstly, process and fulfil any order requirements and secondly to provide you with information to keep you up to date on products, services or promotions we run from time to time. We may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes by email, phone or mail. You can opt out of this at any time, either by writing or emailing us.
