Ashburnham’s wood is over ten years old and has slowly weathered over time, each piece as individual as a fingerprint with its natural imperfections and its unique character and beauty.

Each piece of sleeper wood used has its own story - some parts of the wood still show numbers or letters carved into the wood as markings during its railway lifetime.

This recycled wood is unique in patina and grain, showing the marks of previous use and ageing. The Ashburnham Collection is manufactured to offer a rustic finish; no two pieces are the same, with timber inserts and distressing adding to the natural charm—Handmade in India.
