Product Details

Enjoy your time at the home office! Soft cushioning and sublime support help you focus on the task and work more efficiently. Stressless Home Office chairs have the same unique Plus™ system functions as a Stressless recliner, offering good lumbar and head support when you sit upright and recline.  Stressless Mayfair Home Office Chair has wheels that make it easy to move around, and there is a lever under the seat that allows you to adjust the seat height to the perfect position.  It doesn't hurt that the chair blends in perfectly with the rest of the interior, either. After all: in your own home office, you're the boss.

Glide system; set the friction of the Stressless wheels once and adjust your sitting position simply by using your body weight.

Home Office Chair Seat Height 46cm to 53cm max. Seat Depth 47cm.

Paloma is a slightly corrected leather with a combination of dyes and pigments that smoothes some of the leather’s structure (grain pattern). However, the grain structure of Paloma may vary slightly on some parts of the furniture, and minor colour nuances may also occur. Natural marks, scars, and insect bites remain and will appear in Paloma. A thin coat of lacquer gives Paloma some protection and simplifies cleaning, but Paloma does not have the same heavy-duty quality and protection as Batick and Cori. Due to its soft, natural, and comfortable expression, Paloma is a prevalent choice.

Care and maintenance

Tips to Preserve the Beauty of Your Leather Furniture

In daily use, leather furniture is naturally exposed to various stresses, including body oils, perspiration, general wear, and colour transfer from clothing. By following a few simple precautions and maintenance steps, you can help preserve the appearance and longevity of your leather furniture.

Precautions

Sunlight
Leather, like any natural material, may fade when exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. Noblesse leather, being a more natural leather, is particularly sensitive to sunlight. To minimise fading, avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight.

Heat Sources
To maintain the leather’s surface properties, keep furniture at least 30 cm away from heat sources such as radiators, fireplaces, or heaters.

Pets
Pets should not be allowed on leather furniture. Claws can easily scratch the leather surface, and saliva can be acidic, potentially damaging the leather finish.

Household Chemicals
Avoid contact with household chemicals such as window cleaners, bleach, nail polish, nail polish remover, glue, shoe polish, paint, or other corrosive materials. Many domestic cleaning products contain solvents or oils that can permanently damage leather.
Do not use steam cleaners or traditional household remedies to remove stains.

Hair and Cosmetic Products
Avoid using leather furniture with wet hair or after applying hair care products or cosmetics. Many of these products contain oils and solvents that may weaken the leather finish over time. Regular cleaning helps prevent build-up.

Two-Tone Leather
Some leathers feature a two-tone or antique effect. These finishes may develop character more quickly and show uneven wear in areas of heavier use, such as armrests, headrests, and seat cushions.

Protective Surface Layer
The protective top layer simplifies cleaning but remains vulnerable to damage. Deep scratches or penetrating stains may be irreparable and can cause cracking, peeling, or colour loss.

Clothing Dye Transfer
Dark clothing, particularly denim, may transfer dye onto leather. Hard textiles can also cause increased wear. Light-coloured leather is especially susceptible to colour transfer.

Maintenance Advice

Weekly Cleaning
Maintain the leather’s appearance by gently wiping the surface once a week with a clean, dry cloth or by vacuuming with a soft-bristle attachment to remove dust.

Regular Care Treatment
We recommend cleaning and protecting your leather furniture every six months using the Stressless Leather Care Kit.

Recommended Leather Care Products

Stressless Leather Cleaner

A mild, water-based cleaner suitable for all aniline and pigmented leathers.
It removes dirt and most water-based stains while gently maintaining the leather surface.

Stressless Leather Protection

A water-based protection treatment suitable for most leather types (excluding nubuck and suede). It protects against oil, water, and alcohol stains, and helps keep leather soft and prevent pigmented leather from cracking when used regularly with the cleaner.

Important Notice
DANSK and Ekornes disclaim all liability if leather furniture is maintained using products other than approved Stressless® Leather Care products.
